TILL NEXT TIME WEST COAST!

As most of you know, Kimberly and I drive everywhere! Flying is a complete nightmare, so to the van we go! And although sometimes, we wish we could skip the road scene, other times we wouldn't trade it for the world! The drive out West was absolutely breathtaking, and I only wish I could have captured what I saw with the camera. Most of these were taking from my mounted phone while driving; you will have to excuse the dirty windshield! I really couldn't get enough of those mountains and fall colors!

It's also interesting to visit different churches as we travel. When with a wheelchair user, some churches don't always seem welcoming. It can be stressful to know where you should sit; how you should move through the church. On our journey home, we were lucky enough to visit St. James Catholic Church in Kearney, Nebraska. I did have to ask someone where we would be better off sitting, but when I did, Sister Catherine opened her arms to us and showed us the places that Kimberly could sit comfortably to participate in mass. It had many options for a wheelchair user and the church was beautiful; both the building and the parish.

This concludes our journey WEST! We hope that everyone has enjoyed seeing it from Kimberly's view. There were some ups and downs, but mostly ups! As you can see, we are already on our next adventure; an 8-night Caribbean cruise! Stay tuned!
