Please enjoy this video of Kimberly and I heading to Universal Studios for first full day during our fall trip. Putting these videos together just makes us want to go back! However, it is also teaching us how to improve. For example, I feel like we need to explain more as we go along and also, focus more on accessibility issues. So a couple of notes that came up while we watched this video. 1) The disability pass that I mention is actually called an Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP). When applying for it, they mainly want to know what obstacles you face when standing in the normal line for a ride. Just because Kimberly is in a chair doesn't automatically qualify her for the pass. Each pass is given out on a case to case review. The reason Kimberly qualifies for it is mainly because it is hard to manuver her chair back and forth through the queue lines. Please comment below if you have any specific questions about the AAP. 2) I mention the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel in the video. What you actually see in the video is only the Cafe, not the Hotel. But there is a Hard Rock Cafe Hotel somewhere at Universal and the Garden Walk will take you there.
