On the Road Again!

On our way home, we stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We got a later start so didn't stop until about 6:00 pm. That might not sound late for you guys, but when traveling to Texas with my mom and dad in the past, we would usually call it quits about 3:00 - 4:00 so we could get settled in our hotel, play a game of cards, have supper and still call it an early night! Although it was "late" we still had a short card game and dinner before going to bed.

The Holiday Inn Express was nice. It had enough room and the outlets were good like most accessible rooms. This is really the norm, unlike that awesome room we had at the Hampton Inn on the way to Texas! So, although I'd give this a room two thumbs up, I'm not drawn to stay here again if traveling to Tulsa. I'd be willing to try something else. However, if staying in Oklahoma City area again, it would be hard not to stay at that Hampton Inn again!

Overall, our trip to Texas was amazing. We had a great time with family and experienced new things. Mom/Grandma was missed, but we were able to share stories and felt she would have loved this trip. The next trip to Texas might see us farther south, visiting with my Aunt Julie in Burnet, Texas!
