MIZZOU COTTON BOWL 2023!

Right after Christmas, Chairing My Adventures was lucky enough to go cheer on the Mizzou Tigers at the Cotton Bowl at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. We were excited to see how accessible the Stadium was. Stadiums can either be a big hit or a real miss when it comes to wheelchair seating. Although we like our seats at Faurot Field in Columbia, MO much better, the wheelchair section at AT&T Stadium was certainly acceptable. When entering the stadium, it can be a bit overwhelming because of it's size and the herd of people charging besides you. For that reason, I feel there could have been better signage to find the elevators needed to get to our section. However, the staff at the event easily made up for this inconvenience. I only had to ask one person and he escorted us right to the elevator. The rest of the staff that we encountered were equally as helpful. Our seats were in the highest available section. Lucky for us, AT&T Stadium is the home of a huge 160 ft wide LED screen that we could easily watch the game on. It was fantastic!

Chairing My Adventures gives the AT&T Stadium two thumbs up as a wheelchair friendly venue.

Both the night before the game and just prior to the game, we spent some time at Texas Live. This is definitely a fun place to hang out in Arlington. It is full of restaurants, bars and TV screens to watch any (or all) of the different sporting events. The place was crowded, but Kimberly was able to maneuver around okay and they were able to get us a table easy enough where we were served cold drinks and delicious food. Definitely check it out if you make it that way. If you have found this post helpful or know someone it might help, please like and share it!
