Magic Kingdom!

This was our last day at Walt Disney World. While Ron, Maggie and Danny left to go back to their dreary day jobs, Kimberly and I visited the last remaining park, Magic Kingdom. When Kimberly was about 8, we had went to Magic Kingdom for a long weekend. She was excited to go back and see it. Unfortunately, it was not as exciting as she had hoped it would be. Of course, her being 18 rather than 8 had a big impact I'm sure. But, there also seemed to be little she could do while remaining in her powerchair. (The last time we came, she could usually be transferred to the actual ride). Plus, with COVID, they took away the opportunity to meet the characters, which is something she wanted to do for old times sake. However, our lasting impression of Disney World was a positive one. The staff was extremely thoughtful and helpful when needed. There was a lot to see, if not a lot to do. We did go to a funny Monsters, Inc comedy show. I guess your level of enjoyment would be based on how much of a Disney fan you are. Surprisingly, we don't feel a need to go back any time soon!

After leaving Magic Kingdom behind, we headed to our new adventrue, Universal Studios. It was only about 20 minutes away and we were so excited to get there. That video will be released soon!

Below are a few pictures from our last day. The last one, with the van, just shows one of the ironies we face more than you think. I thought I had a great parking spot, until a staff member parked their golf cart right next too me! Luckily, they were gone by the time I had to load Kimberly!
