Here starts our bonus week of eating out. We ate at Toreros Fine Mexican Food and Royal Thai, both in Enterprise, Alabama. On Tuesday, it was Toreros. Toreros's entrance was very accessible and user friendly and so was the inside of the restaurant. There was a lot of space to come and go and get set up at the table. There was not a convenient outlet that my vent heater could be plugged into, but that's not uncommon. After dinner, we were invited to watch Ron, Maggie, and Ron's parent's compete in a weekly bowling league. I did not get any pictures of the entrance, but it was accessible; maybe a little inconvenient, but perfectly acceptable. I was able to get down to the lanes to be part of the group. Thursday, we went to a Thai place called Royal Thai. I was very excited to go because I had never tried Thai food before. Although the food was delicious and did not disappoint, the front entrance was poorly designed. As you can see in the picture below, had a car been parked in the handicap spot, it would have completely blocked the part of the sidewalk that I would need to access the restaurant using my powerchair. In fact. when we were leaving, there was someone parked there, but luckily they were only doing a pick-up and soon left. So, if you don't need a wheelchair, I say go ahead and eat there. It was my favorite place we ate at during the trip. However, if you are in a chair, you may want to have a back-up plan in case you simply can't get inside.
