A WORKING POOL LIFT!

Although Kimberly loves to hang out by the pool, reading her book and catching some sun, she doesn’t usually get into the pool. There’s many different reasons for this, but one is that there’s usually not a working pool lift. Odyssey of the Seas impressed us with their multiple pool lifts and willingness of the staff to help us. There wasn’t a lot of demand for the lift so Kimberly was able to just hang out with her feet in the water to cool off.

Keep in mind that they keep the batteries to the lifts stored away, so you will have to wait a few minutes while they retrieve them. Plus, while we were using it, they took the battery away again. That left us at their mercy to bring the battery back, but they were very quick to respond and we didn’t mind at all. If this is what they need to do to ensure that the pool lifts would work, that’s fine by us!

Another gem that we found by the pool was an outlet! They are very hard to find on cruise ships, but this one was spotted so keep your eyes out!
